Gulf Coast League 2 Report: June 14
The East is BRSC's to lose; The West will probably go to Central Louisiana; the other two playoff spots are up for grabs
BRSC Capitals are about to have the East Division locked up. They do face Mississippi Blues this week, who are the only team that could still catch them (on paper). The real race will be for second place, and the final playoff spot.
The West Division has really opened up after a big 3-0 win by Twin Cities over Central Louisiana. Central is still in first place, but second place (a playoff position) is officially up for grabs. Look for a reinvigorated Twin Cities to keep some momentum going at home.

Twin Cities FC vs Shreveport United: (Saturday, June 14 at 7:15)
The first meeting between these two sides was handled fairly easily by Shreveport, 3-0. That result accounts for three out of the four total goals Shreveport has scored this season. The same thing can be said for Twin Cities: three of their four goals came from last week's win, over first place Central Louisiana. Notably, that was Twin Cities’ first home game (ever). I look for them to continue their winning ways at home to claim three points in this one.
