Gulf Coast League 2 Report: May 31
Week 3 should start to sort out the table
Legacy teams continue to show the way, with BRSC Capitals, Mississippi Blues FC, Central Louisiana FC, and LA Krewe all undefeated. The two newcomers are both looking for their first wins; Twin Cities has been competitive so far, while Invictus is already sporting a -20 GD after two matches played.
Results from last week
Twin Cities FC 0-2 LA Krewe Rush
Central Louisiana FC 1-0 Shreveport United
BRSC Capitals 13-0 Invictus

Mississippi Blues FC vs BRSC Capitals: (Sunday, June 1 at 5:00)
The top two teams in the East will face off to try to get some separation in the table. Both teams are sitting on six points, and BRSC is coming in from a 13-0 thrashing of Invictus and a 1-0 friendly win mid-week over PSC Florida. Both teams have been strong defensively, allowing just one goal between them so far this season. This should be a low-scoring game, but I don't believe that it will end in a draw.
