After a bye week to rest the legs and heal the injuries, Huntsville City is back in action, and back at home to take on Orlando City B.
Huntsville has beaten OCB just once in their youg history, a 6-2 victory at home in 2023, and have lost each of the last three meetings between these sides.
The Rocket Men enter this one in third place in the East, eight points behind Red Bulls II and Chattanooga FC, who are tied at the top, though Huntsville holds two games in hand to hopefully draw that gap a bit closer.
Orlando sits in 6th, two points behind the Rocket Men, though having played one more game than their Yellowhammer State counterparts.
Let’s dive in.

Lineup Prediction
With the week off it’s hard to tell who exactly got healthy that was out, looking at Gunnar Studenhofft and Jordan Knight here, so I’ve just kinda gone on vibes in all honesty.
Xavier Valdez has all but locked up the goalkeeper spot in the Rocket City, and in front of him I have Jordan Knight, Kevin Carmichael, Zach Barrett and Blake Bowen. The only question mark I have here is Knight, who could be out again, that’s unclear, in which case Tyshawn Rose fits in at right back.
In midfield I have Ethan O’Brien, who has been hugely important to this team, alongside Moises Véliz, who I think should be rewarded for a man of the match type performance against Toronto last time out.
In the front four, Christian Koffi, Alan Carleton and Damien Barker John will combine to support Gio Miglietti up top. If Studenhofft is healthy, I’d imagine he starts here.
Analysis & Prediction
Last weekend, Orlando picked up a huge home win over Chattanooga, but that was just their third win in eight since the start of April. It’s hard to tell just how good this team is with how streaky they can be and have been.
Huntsville, on the other hand, hasn’t lost a game inside 90 minutes all season to a team not named Chattanooga. In fact, their only penalty shootout loss came against Atlanta on May 3rd, otherwise they’d be undefeated in those.
Give me Huntsville 2-1, courtesy of goals from Miglietti and Koffi.
