Inter Miami CF striker Luis Suarez will miss the Herons’ next three MLS matches as well as the team’s next six Leagues Cup games for his role in an alteration between Miami and Seattle after the Leagues Cup final a week ago.
One might wonder why Busquets and Aviles didn’t get any punishments handed out, and why the Seattle coach was banned for the whole season instead (would love your opinion on that Ken), but it’s nice to see that any punishment at all was given by the league themselves.
I think MLS was content with their Leagues Cup bans (three for Aviles and two for Busquets). I’d have liked to see them get a game each from MLS, but I can let that go.
Suarez’ behavior was so egregious, coupled with his record, that MLS had to do something.
I’d like to know more about the Seattle staff member (who evidently wasn’t a coach but a mental health counselor). His ban was the harshest, and Seattle was fined for issuing him credentials in the first place.

Should I follow up?
Great work as always Ken
Thanks, Alex; I have to work on being more consistent, though. You guys put me to shame as far as productivity!
