The Battery have just eight games remaining in the 2025 regular season and currently sit four points off the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Saturday the Battery host the Indy Eleven at 7:30 PM at the Point.
Triumph fall late to Portland Hearts of Pine
Portland Hearts of Pine scored a second-half, stoppage-time goal to claim a 3-2 win over the home Triumph Wednesday night in the Upstate. Greenville took the lead twice but allowed the game-tying goal in the 77th minute before the eventual game winner in stoppage time. The Triumph don’t get too much time to reflect on the results as FC Naples is next on the schedule on the road on September 6. After Naples, it’s the USL Cup Semifinal at Hartford Athletic on September 10 in the largest match of the season so far for the Triumph.
