Revs Rebound with a 1-0 win over FC Birmingham
The Revs found their groove in a 1-0 win at home against FC Birmingham to close out their month of April.
McDonough, May 3, 2025— The Revs found their groove in a 1-0 win at home against FC Birmingham following a heartbreaking shorthanded loss to Georgia Athletic SC to close out their month of April. Martin Saucedo broke the club’s all-time scoring record in the attempted comeback in the second half of the game against Georgia Athletic SC. Also, Tomas Diduck scored his first goal of the 2025 Spring Season in the win over FC Birmingham to earn himself Player of the Match honors.

The Revs dominated possession all evening against FC Birmingham while showcasing crisp passing, intense defending, and a range of creativity that has been missing following an impressive campaign in the 2024 Fall Season. The Revs opened the scoring following a sharply crossed ball by Micah Schneider that fell into the path of a stretching Tomas Diduck, who lofted the ball over the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match. After scoring, the tempo and waves of attack continued for the Revs, which saw numerous shots and attempts on goal in the match to hold onto the 1-0 win at Old Warhawk Stadium in McDonough, Georgia.

Milestones:
Defender Harrington Arnette and forward Jeffrey Ayando made their first starts for the club against FC Birmingham. Defender Omarian Dankyi made his Revs debut against FC Birmingham.
Martin Saucedo now holds the All-Time Scoring Record for the Georgia Revolution FC with 15 career goals. This breaks the prior record held by Kwando Poku, former MLS and USL star, who had 14 goals during his time with the team in the National Premier Soccer League (2011-2013).
Tomas Diduck was named the Player of the Match against FC Birmingham for his goal contribution and the tireless effort he gave in the midfield for the Revs.
