Thanks for the write-up! The heartbreaking loss to Madison argues for paying more attention to xG (expected goals) as a metric for team development/progress than 1-0 losses or wins. I would bet xG charts would show that Tormenta had a large advantage in this game.

Hopefully the improved performance on the pitch will translate to more fans attending the Tormenta games?

You would be completely correct in the xG for this game as Tormenta had a 1.03 to 0.86 advantage in this game. So definitely would be something to watch over the next few weeks to see if this continues to be a trend.

I also think between college returning, to include the football season and the recent form of the team could definitely see some increase fans attending. I do believe a strong second half push to playoffs would really get the fans in the seats. Especially if they find a way to tie the playoff race into their marketing plan.

When do the kids return to the South Georgia campus? You would think the Tormenta ownership would give low- or no-cost tickets to all the students will be arriving early to campus as a "team building" but also revenue (they eat, drink and buy merch!) and fan generating activity? Not just all the Fall athletes who are coming back early for the Preseason (soccer, field hockey, cross country, and of course, american football) but also Residential Advisors, program leaders, etc.

I believe it should be within the next 2 weeks or so. I do think that would be a great partnership program that they could do and in return over time it would build a sustainable relationship with the school.

Surprised it hasn't happened yet! You would think there are myriad (unpaid) internship opportunities for the students, including opportunities for social media influencers and what not to drive up awareness of the Tormenta!
